Megan Keeney is a nursing major at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She has been involved with PRIMO since her senior year of high school in Van Buren. Megan plans to return to her roots in a rural community to help underserved populations with their medical needs. In addition to her FQHC internship, she has many hours of experience working with community service organizations and is a strong advocate for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Megan says her experiences with her SEMO AHEC have influenced her so much, she may even further her education after she receives her degree in nursing and become a doctor.
