What is PRIMO?

  • The State of Missouri, through private and public partnerships, has developed the Primary Care Resource Initiative for Missouri... PRIMO for short. It's a pipeline for recruiting health care providers and developing community-based systems of health care and life quality. The pipeline begins at the community level and runs through the health professional schools and training institutions before ending back in the community. If you are a medical, mental, dental or nursing student looking for a way to pay college expenses, PRIMO might be able to help. Participants in the PRIMO program can receive funding for school in exchange for working in an area of designated need here in Missouri.

PRIMO ACES Star Student for January - Jimmy Rolufs, Jr.

Jimmy_Rolufs Jimmy Rolufs, Jr. is a premed biology student at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He has been a member of the PRIMO ACES program since his junior year in high school. Rolufs has completed an internship at the FQHC in Richland, MO. In addition to ACES plus, Rolufs is a member of the Patient Ambassadors program at PCRMC.
